Education
B'nai Chaim has an excellent Religious Education program that offers educational opportunities for children of all ages to learn about Judaism and their Jewish heritage.
· Sunday Preschool meets on Sunday mornings from 9:00 am to 11:30 am. Children share a variety of fun activities, games, songs, stories, and projects together with their parent/s and are introduced to the joys of Judaism.
· Religious School, for K-7th graders, meets weekly on Sunday mornings from 9:00 am to 11:30 am. The school curriculum focuses on six major themes: Bible and History, Jewish Holidays and Symbols, Prayer and God, Jewish Values and Spirituality, Hebrew, and Jewish Customs and Practices.
· Hebrew School, for 4th, 5th, and 6th graders, meets weekly on Sunday from 11:45 to 1:00 pm. Students learn the Hebrew alphabet and develop their skills in reading, writing and speaking Hebrew.
· Ozerim Program, for 8th graders and beyond, provides these older students the opportunity to support Religious School teachers as they teach the younger students in preparation for their own Bar and Bat Mitzvahs.
